When buying Manuka Honey for medicinal purposes, it is good to know that there is a rating system for it, with less than a 10 rating making it just okay for treating things, but it might not fully clear or help the ailment. This is because the honey doesn’t have as much of the antibacterial action to really reach deep to treat the infection. Experts suggest opting for Active Manuka Honey with a rating of 10 or higher to really see its medicinal benefits.
